“Initially, they designed houses in their living room, today they have a studio in Karlín, Prague and a successful team of eight people around them. Husband and wife Jana and Miroslav Stach founded the boq architekti studio ten years ago and have won numerous Czech and international awards for their ideas.

And because design, which they are both passionate about, goes hand in hand with architecture, they thought about how they could delve even deeper into it. And they came up with a unique bathroom shelf. It holds in the shower or glass screen simply with the help of magnets.”

The story of the haptic brand and its first product perfectly illustrates the saying that what you don’t make yourself, you don’t have. “We were looking for a minimalist design shelf with easy assembly and found out that it didn’t exist. So we created it,” explains Jana Stachová from the boq architekti studio.

She runs it together with her husband Miroslav, and the be_myshelf shelf is their first design project, with which they both entered the segment of design and production of interior accessories, and launched a new brand with which they gradually want to move from the bathroom to other parts of the apartment.
